These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the apps made by Adventure Apps, LLC ("Adventure Apps," "we," "us"). Your use of an app from the App Store is licensed, not sold, and is also governed by Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the standard "EULA"), together with the terms below. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the apps. The terms specific to each app are set out below.

Timesewn Terms

Trademarks

"Timesewn," the Timesewn wordmark, the needle-and-stitch logo, and related marks are trademarks of Adventure Apps, LLC. You may not use these marks without prior written permission, except to refer accurately to the app. All other product and company names mentioned in the app may be trademarks of their respective owners and are used for identification only. Apple, Apple Watch, iPhone, Mac, Siri, and Spotlight are trademarks of Apple Inc., and Android, Google Play, and Wear OS are trademarks of Google LLC.

Tagline

"Time Tools for Professionals" is a marketing tagline only. It describes who the app is designed for; it is not a factual, functional, or performance claim: Timesewn does not guarantee that any alarm or reminder will fire, that any time it shows is exact, or that you will arrive or act on time, and the tagline creates no warranty or guarantee of any outcome. The same applies to any other slogan or playful copy in the app and its store listings.

City data

The searchable city list in Timesewn, including the coordinates the app uses to work out sunrise and sunset, is derived from data made available by GeoNames under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 license. The list is bundled with the app; it is used entirely on your device and is never transmitted.

Copyright

The Timesewn app, including its source code, design, user interface, graphics, icons, text, and bundled sounds, is owned by Adventure Apps, LLC and is protected by copyright and other intellectual-property laws. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.

License

Your use of Timesewn from the App Store, the Mac App Store, or Google Play is licensed, not sold. On Apple devices it is governed by Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the standard EULA), and on Android by the Google Play Terms of Service, in each case together with the terms below. Subject to those terms, you are granted a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use the app on devices that you own or control, including a paired Apple Watch or Wear OS watch.

Timesewn Pro

Timesewn for iPhone and Android is free to download. Timesewn Pro is an optional one-time in-app purchase through the App Store or Google Play that unlocks the features marked as Timesewn Pro in the app. It is not a subscription and does not renew. The store processes the payment under its own terms, and refunds follow the store's policies. Timesewn Pro belongs to the Apple Account or Google account that buys it and can be restored with Restore Purchases in the app's Settings. On Apple devices it can be shared through Family Sharing; Google Play does not share in-app purchases with family members. A purchase on one platform does not unlock Timesewn Pro on the other. If you bought Timesewn before version 4.0, Timesewn Pro is included at no extra cost. Timesewn for Mac is a paid app with every feature included and has no in-app purchase. Your use of Timesewn Pro is licensed under the same terms as the app.

Acceptable use

You agree not to copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the app; not to reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract its source code except to the extent that applicable law expressly permits; and not to remove or alter any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notices.

Alarms and reminders: important

On iOS and Android, Timesewn schedules alarms using the operating system's alarm and notification facilities. Alarm delivery can be affected by device settings, focus modes, silent or low-power modes, permissions, and system behavior outside the app's control. Do not rely on Timesewn as your sole alarm for safety- or time-critical situations.

On macOS, Timesewn delivers reminders, not alarms, through the system's notification facilities. Reminders fire only while your Mac is awake and the app is running, and delivery can be affected by system settings, Focus modes, notification permissions, and sleep. Timesewn is not an alarm clock: do not rely on it for waking up or for safety- or time-critical situations.

Widgets, complications, tiles, Control Center, and the watch apps are refreshed on the operating system's schedule and can briefly show out-of-date information. The watch apps show your alarms but do not schedule them; alarms are scheduled on your phone. Daylight-saving notices, working hours, sunrise and sunset times, and times you type in plain words are provided for convenience; check anything time-critical against an authoritative source.

Disclaimer of warranties

The app is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Limitation of liability

Privacy

Timesewn keeps your data on your device. Your timezone comes from your device's own settings. With your permission, Timesewn uses your location to show your actual city; the city name is looked up through the operating system's geocoding service (Apple's on iOS and macOS, Google's on Android), governed by that provider's own privacy policy, and your coordinates are never stored or sent to us. The alarms you set on iOS and Android, including a counter's alarm at zero, are registered with the operating system's alarm and notification facilities on your device so it can alert you. On macOS, your cities, labels, counters, and reminders are stored locally, and reminders, including a counter's reminder at zero, are registered with macOS's notification system on your device. On iPhone and Mac, iCloud sync keeps your cities, counters, working hours, and time-server choice in your own iCloud account; on Android, the system's app backup can keep the app's data in your own Google account; and Timesewn on Apple Watch or Wear OS receives a copy of your cities, counters, and alarms from your phone. If you turn on Show Next Event, the app reads your calendars on your device to show your next event and never stores or sends it. Text you convert with Convert Time is read on your device and never sent. Timesewn Pro purchases are handled by the App Store or Google Play, and the app only learns whether you own it. Beyond that, the app does not transmit, sell, or share your data, and uses no third-party analytics or advertising. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

If you contact us

The "Contact Us" link opens a pre-addressed email in your mail app. It is optional. If you choose to email us, you send that information to us directly, and we will receive what the email contains: typically your name, your email address, and the contents of your message. The email starts out with the app's version and your device's operating system version filled in, to help us troubleshoot; you can remove them before sending. We use it only to respond to you, and we do not sell it or use it for advertising or tracking.

Portell Terms

No accounts, no ads, no trackers

Portell follows Adventure Apps, LLC's mantra: no accounts, no ads, no trackers. You don't create an account or sign in to use the app. It shows no advertising, and it contains no third-party advertising or analytics trackers. Your entries and photos stay on your device — or, if you turn on your platform's backup, in your own private cloud account — and are never sent to us.

You may not use these marks without prior written permission, except to refer accurately to the app. All other product and company names mentioned in the app may be trademarks of their respective owners and are used for identification only.

Tagline

"Journaling, beautifully simple." is a marketing tagline only. It is figurative and subjective, not a factual, functional, or performance claim, and creates no warranty or guarantee of any outcome. The same applies to any other slogan or playful copy in the app and its store listings.

The Portell app, including its source code, design, user interface, graphics, icons, and text, is owned by Adventure Apps, LLC and is protected by copyright and other intellectual-property laws. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.

Your use of Portell from an app store is licensed, not sold, and is governed by the applicable platform's standard end user license agreement (on iOS, Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement), together with the terms below. Portell Pro

Portell for iPhone and Android is free to download. Acceptable use

Your content

Your journal entries and photos are yours. Portell stores them on your device and, if you enable your platform's backup, in your own private cloud account. Adventure Apps, LLC does not access, collect, or receive your entries or photos. You are responsible for the content you write and for keeping your own backups; the export feature is provided to help you do so.

Disclaimer of warranties

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Adventure Apps, LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss arising from lost data or use of (or inability to use) the app. You are responsible for maintaining your own copies of important entries.

Privacy

Portell keeps your data on your device. Your entries, attached photos, and the first name you enter stay in the app's private storage; if you turn on your platform's backup (Apple's iCloud on iOS, or Android's backup on Android), your entries and photos are stored in your own private cloud account under your control. Your first name is used only to greet you and to title your exports. Portell Pro purchases are handled by the App Store or Google Play, and the app only learns whether you own it. The app does not transmit, sell, or share your data, and uses no third-party analytics or advertising. Optional biometric unlocking (Face ID / Touch ID on iOS, or biometric unlock on Android) is handled by your device — the app only learns whether it succeeded — and the daily reminder is a local notification scheduled on your device. DriveVitals Terms

No accounts, no ads, no trackers

DriveVitals follows Adventure Apps, LLC's mantra: no accounts, no ads, no trackers. You don't create an account or sign in to use the app. It shows no advertising, and it contains no third-party advertising or analytics trackers. Your drive history stays on your Mac or, if you keep iCloud sync on, in your own private iCloud account, and is never sent to us.

Drive health readings

DriveVitals displays the health information that your drives report about themselves, together with a summary based on that information. Life Remaining figures are estimates that compare a drive's usage with ratings published by its manufacturer; they are not a manufacturer's statement about your drive. The app's readings, estimates, and verdicts are informational only. They are not a guarantee of a drive's condition, and they cannot predict every failure: a drive reported as healthy can still fail without warning. Always keep backups of data you care about. Notifications are a convenience and may be delayed, missed, or not sent, for example while DriveVitals isn't running; don't rely on them as your only safeguard. DriveVitals only reads this information; it never writes to, tests, or changes your drives, except to turn SMART on for a drive that has it off, and only when you choose Turn On SMART.

You may not use these marks without prior written permission, except to refer accurately to the app. All other product and company names mentioned in the app, including drive manufacturers and models, may be trademarks of their respective owners and are used for identification only.

You are responsible for maintaining your own backups.

Privacy

DriveVitals reads drive information, such as model, serial number, and health data, directly from your Mac. To track your drives over time, it keeps a history of those readings on your Mac and, if iCloud sync is on, in your own private iCloud account, where your other Macs can read it. That history is never sent to us, and with Advanced Data Protection your iCloud copy is end-to-end encrypted. You can delete a drive's history with Forget This Drive, or turn iCloud sync off in Settings. Health alerts are local notifications created on your Mac, and reports you export go only to the app or folder you choose. When a drive isn't in the app's built-in ratings, DriveVitals downloads its full ratings list from adventureapps.llc and looks the drive up on your Mac; the request includes nothing about your drives. As with any web request, our host sees your IP address to deliver the file. The app does not sell or share any of this information, and uses no third-party analytics or advertising. These Terms may be updated from time to time. Continued use of an app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. Changes will be posted at this page with a revised "Last updated" date.
