These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the apps made by Adventure Apps, LLC ("Adventure Apps," "we," "us"). Your use of an app from the App Store is licensed, not sold, and is also governed by Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the standard "EULA"), together with the terms below. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the apps. The terms specific to each app are set out below.

Trademarks
"Timesewn," the Timesewn wordmark, the needle-and-stitch logo, and related marks are trademarks of Adventure Apps, LLC. You may not use these marks without prior written permission, except to refer accurately to the app. All other product and company names mentioned in the app may be trademarks of their respective owners and are used for identification only.
Tagline
"Making time stand still." is a marketing tagline only. It is figurative, not a factual, functional, or performance claim: Timesewn does not stop, slow, or otherwise affect the passage of time, and the tagline creates no warranty or guarantee of any outcome. The same applies to any other slogan or playful copy in the app and its store listings.
Copyright
The Timesewn app, including its source code, design, user interface, graphics, icons, text, and bundled sounds, is owned by Adventure Apps, LLC and is protected by copyright and other intellectual-property laws. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.
License
Your use of Timesewn from the App Store or the Mac App Store is licensed, not sold, and is governed by Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the standard EULA), together with the terms below. Subject to those terms, you are granted a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use the app on Apple devices that you own or control.
Acceptable use
You agree not to copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the app; not to reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract its source code except to the extent that applicable law expressly permits; and not to remove or alter any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notices.
Alarms and reminders — important
On iOS and Android, Timesewn schedules alarms using the operating system's alarm and notification facilities. Alarm delivery can be affected by device settings, focus modes, silent or low-power modes, permissions, and system behavior outside the app's control. Do not rely on Timesewn as your sole alarm for safety- or time-critical situations.
On macOS, Timesewn delivers reminders — not alarms — through the system's notification facilities. Reminders fire only while your Mac is awake and the app is running, and delivery can be affected by system settings, Focus modes, notification permissions, and sleep. Timesewn is not an alarm clock: do not rely on it for waking up or for safety- or time-critical situations.
Disclaimer of warranties
The app is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Adventure Apps, LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss arising from missed alarms, lost data, or use of (or inability to use) the app.
Privacy
Timesewn keeps your data on your device. On iOS and Android, with your permission, it uses your location on-device only, to determine your timezone, and it registers the alarms you set with the operating system's alarm and notification facilities on your device so it can alert you. On macOS, the app uses no location at all and has no network access; your cities, labels, and reminders are stored locally, and reminders are registered with macOS's notification system on your device. The app does not transmit, sell, or share this data, and uses no third-party analytics or advertising. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

The "Contact Us" link opens a pre-addressed email in your mail app. It is optional. If you choose to email us, you send that information to us directly, and we will receive what the email contains — typically your name, your email address, and the contents of your message. We use it only to respond to you, and we do not sell it or use it for advertising or tracking.

BarMe is developed and published by Adventure Apps, LLC, a United States company, and is currently distributed in the United States only. It is not affiliated with, associated with, endorsed by, or connected to any other company, app, product, or service using the same or a similar name in any other country. References to "BarMe" on this site, in the app, and in its store listings refer solely to this app by Adventure Apps, LLC.

Venue information — important
BarMe finds nearby venues using Apple's MapKit search. Venue names, locations, hours, categories, and other details come from Apple's map data and the underlying providers, are provided "as is," and may be incomplete, out of date, or inaccurate. Directions are provided by Apple Maps. Always verify a venue is open and confirm details before you travel, and follow all local laws. BarMe does not verify age requirements, admission policies, or the accuracy of any listing.
Alcohol, conduct, and assumption of risk
Please read this carefully
BarMe only helps you locate venues such as bars, breweries, wine bars, sports bars, lounges, and clubs; it neither sells, serves, nor supplies alcohol. If you choose to drink, please do so responsibly, only if you are of legal drinking age, and never drive or operate machinery while impaired. You are solely and entirely responsible for your own decisions, conduct, and safety, and for those of anyone you are responsible for.
You acknowledge and agree that, to the fullest extent permitted by law, Adventure Apps, LLC is not responsible or liable for anything associated with, resulting from, or having any nexus to your consumption of alcohol, your intoxication, your presence at or travel to or from any venue, or any activity, decision, injury, death, property damage, arrest, harm, or loss arising out of or connected to your use of the app — whether to you or to any third party, and whether or not such consequences were foreseeable. This includes, without limitation, drunk or impaired driving, accidents, altercations, over-service, and the acts or omissions of venues, their staff, or other patrons. You assume all such risks and release Adventure Apps, LLC from any related claims to the extent permitted by law.

Community rankings
BarMe includes an optional feature, "Help improve rankings," that is on by default and can be turned off anytime in Settings. When on, favoriting a venue sends an anonymous "+1" for that venue (and un-favoriting sends a matching "−1") so popular places rank a little higher for everyone. We store only a count per venue — never your name, account, device, or location — and use Apple App Attest to keep counts honest without identifying you. These rankings are community-influenced signals provided "as is"; they do not reflect any endorsement, and may be incomplete or gamed. See our Privacy Policy for details.
Privacy
BarMe does not collect your personal data and uses no advertising or tracking. With your permission, it uses your location to find venues near you and center the map, and the venues you favorite are stored locally on your device. Venue search, maps, and directions are powered by Apple's MapKit and Apple Maps on iOS, and by Foursquare and OpenStreetMap on Android — on Android your approximate location is sent to the venue provider to fetch nearby results — each under its own privacy policy. No accounts, no ads, no trackers
Portell follows Adventure Apps, LLC's mantra: no accounts, no ads, no trackers. You don't create an account or sign in to use the app. It shows no advertising, and it contains no third-party advertising or analytics trackers. Your entries and photos stay on your device — or, if you turn on your platform's backup, in your own private cloud account — and are never sent to us.

Your content
Your journal entries and photos are yours. Portell stores them on your device and, if you enable your platform's backup, in your own private cloud account. Adventure Apps, LLC does not access, collect, or receive your entries or photos. You are responsible for the content you write and for keeping your own backups; the export feature is provided to help you do so.

Privacy
Portell keeps your data on your device. Your entries, attached photos, and the first name you enter stay in the app's private storage; if you turn on your platform's backup (Apple's iCloud on iOS, or Android's backup on Android), your entries and photos are stored in your own private cloud account under your control. Your first name is used only to greet you and to title your exports. The app does not transmit, sell, or share your data, and uses no third-party analytics or advertising. Optional biometric unlocking (Face ID / Touch ID on iOS, or biometric unlock on Android) is handled by your device — the app only learns whether it succeeded — and the daily reminder is a local notification scheduled on your device.
